Forex Service Charges

A. Documentary Letter of Credit – Import (Both Foreign Currency & Indian Rupee)

1. Bill Charges 0.15% (Minimum Nu.250) as opening commission.
2. Commitment Charges 1% on actual number of days up to the validity of the credit (Minium Nu.250)
3. Usance Charges 1.2% on actual number of days up to the validity of the credit (Minimum Nu.250)

 

B. Collection – IB/CBC (In FC)

1. IB including immediate credit 1% (minimum Nu.75)

2. CBC – Cheques/Drafts sent on Collection Basis (In FC)

1. up to Nu.10,000/- Nu.40/-
2. Nu.10,001 to 100,000 Nu.4/- per 1000 & minimum Nu.40
3. above Nu.100,000 Nu.3.50/- per 1000 & minimum Nu.400 & Maximum Nu.10,000

 

C. Purchase/Sale of USD TRAVELLERS CHEQUES

Commission @ 1% flat on equivalent value

 

D. Remittances (In FC)

1. Drafts up to FC 1000.00 0.25% (Minimum Nu.100)
2. Drafts above FC 1000.00 0.25% (Minimum Nu.250)
3. Transfer via SWIFT 0.25% (Minimum Nu.100) plus transmission chrages of Nu.250 for TTs & Nu.1000 for LCs
 4. Postage on actual basis  Actual basis (Minimum Nu.500)

 

General on (Foreign Exchange)

  1. Besides the above, in all transactions, all actual direct expenses and/ or postage/ telex/courier/ telephone/ fax charges etc, wherever applicable, minimum Nu.250/- and foreign charges shall be recovered.
  2. Courier charges for forwarding negotiated documents to the issuing bank, in actual, minimum Nu.1000/- per negotiation.
  3. Collect Nu.500/- per claim for settlement of reimbursement claims
  4. Document under LC sent for collection, actual courier charges, minimum Nu.500/-
  5. Telex charges for the full LC transmission, in actual, minimum Nu.1000/- per LC
  6. For every amendment, telex charges in actual, minimum Nu.250/-
  7. Commissions and/ or other charges recovered/ received are not refundable
  8. A charge of Nu.100/- per certificate shall be recovered for issue of certificate/ attestations in respect of export transactions.
