Notification on ATM Withdrawal Charge

All customers are requested to note that cash withdrawals from other bank’s ATM machines are chargeable @Nu 9/- per withdrawal transaction from the sixth transaction onwards, and is recovered at each month end. This is a common charge across banks and as mandated by the Central Bank.

QUANTUM

For new Construction and Purchase:

  • Commercial housing loan : 60% to 70% of the building estimate.
  • Non Commercial housing loan: 80% of the building estimate.
  • For renovation: 50% of the renovation cost.

CHECKLIST FOR HOUSING LOAN ( FOR DOWNLOAD IN PDF )

  • Application form duly filled in and signed on all the pages.
  • Copy of valid Citizen Identity (CID) of both the applicant and the guarantor as applicable.
  • One recent Pass Port size photograph of the applicant.
  • Copy of Ownership certificate(s) of the plot where the building is being constructed and also for other fixed assets being offered as securities to bank.
  • Consent letter from the joint owner or co-owner if the collateral provided is in joint and co-ownership.
  • For family owned land, family (household) register issued by Department of Civil Registration and Census, MoHCA and NOC from family members (18 years and above) (if applicable).
  • CID COPIES OF WITNESS, INCASE OF TPG PROPERTY FOR FAMILY AND JOINT PROPERTIES, THE FAMILIY MEMBERS TO COME TO BANK AND SIGN, OR TO BE VERIFIED BY GUP
  • Sale Deed agreement in case of purchase of already constructed building/flat.
  • Insurance copy of the already constructed building/flat.
  • Approved drawing plan of the building and a copy of approval letter for construction from concerned authority.
  • Expected rental income for new construction or proof of income to service the loan – rental income statement and BIT/ PIT/Salary Slip duly certified by the Department concerned.
  • Latest Pay Slip if repayment is tied up with salary income.
  • Power of attorney (POA) given by the rightful owner for execution of loan documents may be accepted only in case of people residing outside Bhutan and should be certified by a person with a good track record in the bank with legal stamps, signatures and witness since the court of law legally recognize the signed POA with legal stamp and witness.
