Bank of Bhutan Ltd offers you the convenience of ATM Services in Thimphu Main Branch, Thimphu City Branch, Phuentsholing Main Branch, Phuentsholing Bazaar Branch, Paro Branch and Wangdue Branch.  We further continuing to expand ATM Services in other branches in line with the rollout of Core Banking System in branches.

The cardholders of the above branches can transact in any ATMs located at Thimphu, Phuentsholing, Wangdue and Paro (from 5th Sep 2009)

-   Mothithang (opposite to BOD)

-   Tashi Commercial Complex (near Pastry Shop)

3  .Wangdue

-  Branch Premises

4  .Paro

-   Branch Premises

    If you already have a Savings Bank or Current Account with the above branches, apply for BOBCARD at your branch

    Eligibility:
    All Saving Bank and Current Account holders having accounts with the above branches and fulfilling below conditions can avail the card;

-   SB Account Type: Any Individual / “Either or Survivor” Accountholder

-   CD Account Type: Individual / Sole Proprietorship Accountholder

-   Thumb Impression SB/CD Accountholder not eligible.

Daily Transaction Limit:
Maximum permitted aggregate utilization in a day is Nu 25,000/-

Features:

-   Balance Inquiry

-  Displays the Cardholder Account’s Balance on the Screen and/or prints on a Receipt

-     Cash Withdrawal

-   Minimum Amount per Transaction – Nu100/-

-   Maximum Amount per Transaction – Nu18,000/-

-   Amount should be multiple of 100 or 500

-   Denomination dispensed – Nu100 & Nu500

-   Fast Cash

-   Predefined cash withdrawal amounts viz. Nu500, Nu1500, Nu2000, Nu.2500, Nu.3000 & Nu5000

-   PIN Change

-   Allows the cardholder to change the PIN for his/her card.

Mini Statement

-   Allows the Cardholder to get the last five transactions in his/her account. The cardholder is given a receipt for the transaction.

-   Fund Transfer

-   Own Account Fund Transfer – applicable only  between accounts linked to card

-   Other Services

-   Cheque Book Request

-   Account Statement

-   Multi Account Linking

-   You can link up to four of your savings/current accounts to the ATM card. You can even link the accounts that you maintain with different Core Banking branches to the same card. Transact across all your accounts with Bank of Bhutan Ltd with the power of ATM card.

Auto PIN Block/Release

-   As an enhanced security measure, in case the pin number is entered wrong thrice at the ATM, the card is blocked at the switch for one day. The block is automatically removed from the card next day.

Fees/Annual Service Charges:

-   Card Fee                                     :    Free

-   Card Replacement Fee                  :    Nu.200/- per Card

-   PIN Regeneration Fee                   :    Nu.200/- per Card

-   Annual Service Charges                 :    Nu.275/- per annum

Lost/Stolen Cards:

In case of lost or stolen of the card, cardholders are requested to contact our nearest branches immediately or call Helpline 220 or Landline 252402/252225 or email us at bobcard@bob.bt to avoid fraudulent use of the card.

Tips to avoid retraction of Cash/Card by ATM:

-   Collect your cash within 10 seconds.

-   Collect your cash within 20 seconds.

-   In case your card/cash is retracted by the ATM, please retain transactions receipts and call 17899928 (for Thimphu ATM) and 17899927 (for Phuentsholing ATM).

Tips for caring your Card:

-   Avoid scratching the Magnetic Stripe at the back side of your Card

-   Do not place two cards with the magnetic strips together

-   Do not bend the Card

-   Keep your Card away from head and direct sunlight
