Notification on ATM Withdrawal Charge

All customers are requested to note that cash withdrawals from other bank’s ATM machines are chargeable @Nu 9/- per withdrawal transaction from the sixth transaction onwards, and is recovered at each month end. This is a common charge across banks and as mandated by the Central Bank.

  • Submit application to Cards Division, Corporate Head Office, Thimphu through any of the Bank of Bhutan Branch Offices
  • Cards Division shall further submit the application to RMA and seek approval based on the justifications provided in the application
  • Organizations having FC account, USD/INR can directly fill up the Application Form available on the website and submit it to Cards Division through any of the BoBL Branch offices

  • Any other agency like Hotels and Travel Agents approved by RMA


  • Certification of incorporation/registration (corporate)

Note: To avail ATS on Card, need to provide valid passport copy and confirmed air ticket to Third Countries
