Credit Products
Extending Credit is one of the prime services of BOBL apart from accepting deposits. BOBL, as one of the oldest and primer financial institution in the country, has wide range of diversified and flexible credit schemes (both fund-based and non-fund-based) meeting every financial need of the varied clients.
We offer competitive interest rates on our Credit Schemes ranging from 10% p.a to 15% p.a depending on the type of Credit.

How to avail the Credit:
Fill our prescribed Application forms ( available at all our branch offices and submit to the Branch Managers of the nearest branch office along with the requisite supporting documents / papers prescribed in the form.

Method of Interest Calculation
We charge simple rate of interest on reducing principle balances in both term loan and overdraft accounts only up to the period of actual loan outstanding and not for the entire term of loan.

Documents required for opening of New Account:

For Individual Account A Citizenship Identity Card photocopy.

  1. An introduction by our Bank’s Saving/Current Account holder.
  2. Two Passport Size Photographs.

For Minor Account

  1. A Citizenship Identity Card photocopy (Parents/Guardian).
  2. An introduction by our Bank’s Saving/Current Account holder.
  3. Two Passport size photographs of Parents/Guardian.

For Trusts/Business Organisations/Govt. Depts.

  1. Copy of the Trust Deed
  2. Copy of the registration certificate
  3. Copy of the Resolution of The Trustees
  4. Authorising the members concerned to open and operate the account
  5. Photographs of the members operating the account

Minimum Balance

  1. With Cheque facility – Nu.500/-
  2. Without Cheque facility – Nu.200/-

Savings Bank Accounts should not be used as Current Accounts, in case the Bank has reason to believe that a Savings Account is being used for a purpose for which it is not intended, the Bank will be at liberty to close the account.
