A Remittance Claim Form is required when funds are directly deposited into Bank of Bhutan’s account in India without using the standard INR remittance process through a bank branch.
To avoid delays, remitters should ensure that the beneficiary’s name and account number are clearly mentioned in the transaction remarks/description field.
- If the beneficiary details are available in the transaction record, the funds will be credited to the beneficiary account on the next working day, and no claim form is required.
- If the beneficiary details are missing, Bank of Bhutan will be unable to identify the intended beneficiary, and a Remittance Claim Form will be required before the funds can be processed.
To ensure timely processing, please use the standard INR remittance channel as mentioned in the table above or clearly provide the beneficiary’s name and account number when making a direct deposit in our account.

OUTWARD REMITTANCE
The outward remittances can also be transferred to any part of the world via SWIFT. We remit funds for business, medical, allowances, studies, Imports etc.
