Notification on ATM Withdrawal Charge

All customers are requested to note that cash withdrawals from other bank’s ATM machines are chargeable @Nu 9/- per withdrawal transaction from the sixth transaction onwards, and is recovered at each month end. This is a common charge across banks and as mandated by the Central Bank.


BoBit is a money transferring platform for Non-Residential Bhutanese (NRB) residing exclusively in Australia. It is facilitated by the Bank of Bhutan in partnership with FLEXEWALLET PTY LIMITED, a company incorporated in Australia.

BoBit will facilitate customers to submit payment instructions and/or order transactions online by visiting our website. The fund will be directly deposited to the beneficiary’s account maintained with us and also the other local Banks.


  • Non-Residential Bhutanese residing in Australia can directly visit our website and click on BoBit Icon placed on Home Page
  • Click on “Sign Up” if you are a first-time user (first-time users will need to verify the link in the email sent to your registered Email ID in order to proceed). Existing Users – Click on the “Login” button.
  • Follow the steps and complete your profile by providing all the required details and documents accurately to avoid payment delays. 


  • Passport
  • Proof of Address (Pay slip no older than 90 days prior to transaction date; OR Utility bill; OR Phone bill)
  • Driving License (front and back)

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS (when remitting funds of over AUD $5,000)

  • Bank statement no older than 90 days prior to transaction date. (Must be a full copy of the bank statement with no pages missing)


  • Enter AUD to know your amount payable in BTN.
  • Click on “New Recipient” and enter all the necessary details. Please ensure you provide an authentic Bank Account Number and Account Holder Name.
  • Submit Payment and you will see the local AUD Payment instructions 
  • Log in to your bank account online and pay the AUD amount incl. of all fees and pay via PAY ID or BSB – ACCOUNT. This account is enabled for NPP and funds will be shown on our account quickly.
  • You will receive a confirmation of transactions through email. Share an e-receipt with your beneficiary.


AUD $12 per transaction, irrespective of the transaction amount, will be levied.
